Africa is a continent that’s very much in demand of volunteers. There is help required in schools, wildlife sanctuaries, activity groups and society in general. There is no doubt that areas of Africa are deprived, and work experience can be a really rewarding experience.

There are charities out there who are willing to provide you with accommodation, and allowance and usually the only fee you have to pay is your flights. Volunteering in Africa is can see you meet some amazing people, visit some spectacular places and see another part of the world in a completely different light.

If you love sports, or wildlife, or teaching then the possibilities are out there, and so many people are now having a positive effect on Africa by volunteering. Often people volunteer for long periods of time, and that can mean a gap year, or several months spent in various areas of Africa, and the demand for volunteers exists all year round.
